After more than six weeks in rehab, Lindsay Lohan finally left Promises rehab facility and headed straight to Las Vegas nightclub Pure to attend the surprise birthday of her assistant. Lohan had extended her stay at rehab facility Promises in Malibu, California, after a series of drug and alcohol-related misdemeanors. She entered rehab for the second time this year following her arrest for DUI (driving under the influence) following a May car crash in Beverly Hills. She had planned to stage her recent 21st birthday celebrations at Pure but opted instead to host a small party for family and friends at a Malibu, California beach house. She made amends with Pure bosses when she made an unannounced appearance and danced the night away, sipping only energy drink Red Bull. Lohan lived it up with a group of ten or so pals. There wasn’t a beer bottle or wine glass in sight. Members of the Pussycat Dolls and illusionist Criss Angel joined Lohan in the club’s VIP DJ booth, where they partied from 1 to 4 a.m. Lohan completed a 45-day stay at the swank drug and alcohol rehab center and will now begin an intensive outpatient program with the facility. To keep her on the straight and narrow, Lohan’s opted to wear an alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet.”She chose to do so that there’s no question of her sobriety when she goes to places where alcohol is served,” said her publicist Leslie Sloane.
