Joshua Perper, Broward County, Florida, medical examiner, said he would conduct a news conference as soon as Monday to announce what killed Anna Nicole Smith. She died Feb. 8 in a Hollywood, Fla., hospital where she was taken after being found unresponsive in her hotel room. Gary Bitner, Seminole Police Department spokesman said the findings at the news conference "are going to be a significant announcement." The spokesman added that the police, state attorney and the medical examiner's office have been working together and "it continues to be a non-criminal, unexplained death investigation." Bitner said Perper's findings "are going to provide some resolution" in Smith's death.

Naomi Campbell left the New York City Sanitation Department after the fifth day of her court-ordered community service. She was released from a garbage truck garage after completing five days of community service for assaulting her maid.Campbell walked out of the Department of Sanitation facility in Manhattan just after 4 p.m., making her exit seconds after a garbage truck rolled through the area. She strutted out of the garage in a bare-shouldered, ankle-length shimmering gown and stiletto sandals, then stepped into her silver Rolls Royce and sped away as neighborhood residents and paparazzi watched. Her boss for the week, department chief Albert Durrell, said she successfully completed her service.Campbell had pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault for throwing the phone at her maid about a year ago in her Park Avenue apartment over a missing pair of jeans. Campbell said it was an accident because she did not intend to hit the maid. Misdemeanor assault is punishable by up to a year in jail. In an agreement negotiated with prosecutors, a Manhattan Criminal Court judge sentenced Campbell to the five days of community service, to take anger management classes and to pay $363.32 in restitution to Scolavino, as well as covering her hospital bills.

Britney Spears has been granted a British court order preventing the press there from printing allegations about her recent stay at a rehab clinic in Malibu, California. The injunction stops "person or persons who has/have been leaking information about Ms. Spears' time in a rehabilitation clinic from further disclosures invading her privacy," said Spears' London law firm. One of the lawyers for the firm said there is someone who is trying to sell a story to English publications, and the injunction is targeted to stop that from happening. The injunction does not specify who is trying to sell the story, but it appears it's someone in a position to know about Spears' stay at the Promises rehab facility in Malibu. Lawyers acting for Spears at the court in London also applied for an additional order that would force British publications to reveal the sources of stories that detailed Spears' stay at the rehab clinic. A statement from Spears' legal team explains she "intends to challenge false allegations that have already been published." The statement also says that media outlets are being served the injunction "so as to assist them in not making the mistake of carrying out such further disclosures if approached by this person."Spears has already launched a lawsuit against some of the "false allegations" which have been circulating in some publications.

Anna Nicole Smith's longtime lawyer and companion is appealing a judge's directive for a DNA swab test on her 6-month-old daughter, the subject of a custody battle in the Bahamas, legal sources said. But Court TV reported the mouth swab test had already been done and would be sent to a laboratory in Ohio. The legal sources, who asked not to be identified, said lawyers for Howard K. Stern were drawing up papers to block Judge Stephen Isaacs' directive that a swab be taken from the infant.."It was hoped the appeal would be heard, but, the situation being what it is here in the Bahamas, it's unlikely it will be heard until next week," a source said. "I gather they are shooting for Monday." The paternity lawsuit was brought in the Bahamas by Larry Birkhead, an ex-boyfriend of Smith, whose sudden death in Florida on Feb. 8 touched off a custody battle for her daughter. Birkhead, a Los Angeles photographer, said he is the father of the baby who is heir apparent to Smith's estate. The estate could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars if it wins a fight to inherit from Smith's late oil tycoon husband, J. Howard Marshall. Stern is listed as the baby's father on her Bahamian birth certificate. Other men also have claimed they may be the child's biological father.

The book was reportedly expected to expose details of Madonna's marriage to film director Guy Ritchie, her alleged ironfisted household rules and the controversial adoption of her Malawian son."I deeply regret that Crown decided not to move forward in publishing the nanny's book," agent Sharlene Martin said in a statement. Sanitation Chief Albert Durrell has some advice for Naomi Campbell, who's begins five days of community service at the lower East Side garage where he works."Hopefully, she'll know not to come in high heels or anything like that," Durrell said.
